Peter visits Hatteras Island.

On Sunday Zack and I drove to Richmond to pick up my brother Peter who had been spending a few days interviewing for a position as a university minister for RUF. We are praying God shows him His will in whether this is the place he is called to. Zack and I visited the church he would be working with and liked the service very much, the only thing that was a strange was the start time of 4:00. Let me tell you Richmond is quite beautiful and rich in history! I could have spent a lot more time exploring all the ins and outs. One fun fact about the city is that it is the only one city with class 4 and 5 rapids running through it.

We then took Peter to Hatteras to stay with us until this morning when my wonderful husband drive him to Norfolk, VA (leaving our house at 2:30 AM!! And my husband wouldn't let me go with him, he wanted me to stay home and sleep before the 8:00 meeting at work. Did I saw how wonderful he is?!)

We at some great cheese with bread Peter made while we were at work, we also tried a Christmas beer Peter brought down.

Played some Ticket to Ride (aka Trains)

In addition to making bread while we were at work Peter also put up white lights, which thrilled me to say the least. Our little back home looks so lovely with the new lights.

Yum, our last meal together was bison burgers, if you haven't had them yet you should soon! :)
